Childhood and Youth

I was born in Hanover on December 13, 1949. My parents both worked. My mother was a manager's assistant at HANOMAG, a tractor company and my father was a planning manager at CONTINENTAL, a tire corporation. more

The Hard Years

When I went to "HANNOVER-KOLLEG" I earned my money as a cable man at NDR in Hanover ("Musik aus Studio B") and at STUDIO HAMBURG (they did shows starring Peter Frankenfeld, Peter Alexander and Michael Schanze). more

Finally Taking Off

In September 1977 the hard years were finally over and I was offered a job as a newcoming editor in television entertainment at (what was formerly known as) Südwest Funk in Baden-Baden. more

Setback

After seven extremely successful years as an executive producer, TV business became tougher.
Nonetheless, everything still progressed perfectly for me. RTL made Thomas and me an offer to create programs for them exclusively. The offer was worth millions so we accepted it. more

New Beginnings

After the separation from Thomas, I founded my own production company, HDTV-Entertainment GmbH! I was immediately hired to do a 13-part comedy show for Hella von Sinnen. more

Back Again!

My phase as managing director of "HDTV-Entertainment" when it was a subsidiary of UFA Film und TV Produktion GmbH, at Studio Hamburg and once again as an independent producer. more
